HAKOM at the Meeting of the Electronic Communications Committee

At the meeting of the Electronic Communications Committee (ECC), the discussion topics were the use of 700 MHz frequency bands for broadband systems, mobile communications on board vessels, intelligent transport systems and the broadband systems for public protection and disaster cases.

 
ZAGREB, March 1, 2016 The41st meeting of Electronic Communications Committee – ECC has started  in the Belgian city of Ghent .The Committee considers and develops the electronic communications policy in the European context taking into account the European and international legislation. At the meeting which will last until March 4 the topics to be discussed are: the use of 700 frequency bands for broadband systems700 frequency bands for broadband systems, mobile communications on board vessels, intelligent transport systems and the broadband systems for public protection and disaster cases.
 
The representatives of the regulatory authorities, international institutions and the economy are participating at the meeting. The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) is represented by Ivančica Sakal, Radio Communications Department Manager.
