ZAGREB, August 31, 2016 - Within the scope of their regular activities the experts from the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) are holding frequent workshops on the protection of end-users in the Electronic communications. Due to the frequent cross-border fraudulent attempts as well as the last amendments to the Ordinance which have brought new rights to the end-users and obligations to the operators of the Electronic communications services such as those related to the conclusion and termination of subscription contracts, the possibilities of controlling billings and protection of the unwanted billings, HAKOM is actively participating in consumer education. Being a frequent guest in radio shows which are broadcasted live, the experts responsible for protection of the end-users’ rights answer specific questions of the listeners proving that this is one of the ways of informing the end-users. Last in a series of such programmes was aired on the Radio 105 ( the Municipality of Selnica) on Tuesday. In the programme “ Glos potrošoča˝ HAKOM's experts Marina Ljubić Karanović and Andro Marčev responded to the end-users questions.
