HAKOM Approved the Acquisition of Amis to Vipnet

HAKOM has reviewed the consequences of the acquisition procedure on the regulated markets and it evaluated that the intended acquisition of Amis to Vipnet would not distort the market competition.

 
ZAGREB, July 9 2015 - Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) passed the decision on the evaluation procedure of the announcement of the intended acquisition of the company Amis to the company Vipnet.
 
On June 19, 2015, Vipnet submitted the notification of intended acquisition of Amis under the condition of acquiring 100% AMISCO NV business shares ,Belgium, holding in Amis the business share of 100% of that company’s share capital.
 
Since, in 2014, Amis didn’t gain total revenue exceeding the amount of HRK 100 million, it is not compulsory to declare the intended acquisition in accordance with the provisions of Regulations on Market Share Protection and it is under HAKOM’s competence.
 
According to its decision HAKOM has reviewed the consequences of the acquisition procedure on the regulated markets and it evaluated that the intended acquisition of Amis to Vipnet would not distort the market competition
