HAKOM's Experts Attended the Workshop on Consumers’ Rights in Kraljevica

During an interesting and interactive workshop discussion the participants were informed about the rights and obligations of users and operators of electronic communications services regarding the conclusion and termination of subscription contracts as well as the possibilities to control consumption and protection of the unwanted billings
 
KRALJEVICA, May 12, 2015 – Within the framework of the project implementation regarding consumers’ advice and the Consumer Advice Centre an Association for Consumers Protection, a workshop was held in Kraljevica. The workshop brought together many lecturers among whom were also the representatives of HAKOM, Marina Ljubić Karanović, Lawyer, Senior Legal Affairs Expert, and Andro Marčev, Senior Consumer Protection Expert.
During an interested and interactive discussion, HAKOM’s experts, who have been successfully working on the protection of consumers’ interests got to know the participants with the rights and obligations of users and operators of the electronic communications services, referring to the conclusion and termination of subscription contracts and the possibility of controlling consumption and protection of the unwanted billings. Furthermore, new consumers’ rights prescribed by HAKOM, which entered into force on 1 May were discussed too.
The workshop participants were particularly interested in practical experience from the field and settlements of certain disputes between consumers and operators.
