HAKOM Continues with the Workshops for the Projects regarding higher Accessibility of Broadband Internet Infrastructure

ZAGREB, July 6 2015 – Within the workshop programme intended for the leaders of counties, municipalities and cities aiming to support the local and regional government units in the initiation and implementation of the projects in order to increase the accessibility of broadband infrastructure, Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) continues with its activities. The workshop held on Monday in Gospić, was intended for the representatives of Lika-Senj County and its towns and municipalities. The participants were introduced with the range of possibilities and the importance of broadband access for the economic development of their region as well as with the National Framework Programme for the Development of Broadband and the challenges of local government units regarding the successful implementation of the projects of building electronic communications infrastructure financed by the EU funds. In September, HAKOM’s experts are going to hold workshops for Brod-Posavina and Virovitica-Podravina County.
