Why is broadband necessary?
The development of technology brings new services and applications, and at the same time an increasing number of devices that are connected to each other. Currently, for most average users, the speed of 100 Mbit/s is sufficient to meet all the requirements (e.g. use of e-mails, internet browsers, HD video, online games, video conferencing, working from home with a large amount of data) for multiple users of the same household. However, the total amount of data, i.e. the number of Mbit exchanged, is constantly increasing and therefore higher speeds are needed for satisfactory operation of applications, i.e. adequate quality of service. Referring to the business users, in addition to big data, (much bigger than household data), other network performances are important as well such as response, reliability, low latency.
