First Meeting of the National Council for Digital Economy (NCDE)

At the meeting of the NCDE Council, which was attended by Mr. Dražen Lučić, the President of the Council of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) in the capacity of a member of the Council, Mr. Vedran Kružić, assistant minister of the economy for trade and internal market was appointed Chairman of the NCDE.
 

 
ZAGREB, 30. September 2015. – The first meeting of the National Council for Digital Economy (NCDE) took place. The Council was founded in June of 2015 as an advisory body of the Government of the Republic of Croatia view to establishing an active partnership of stakeholders in the development of digital economy, definition of objectives and priorities for the development of a single digital market within the framework of changes in the economy imposed by the development of digital technologies. The representative of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) in the NCDE is the President of the Council of HAKOM, Dražen Lučić, and his deputy is Domagoj Jurjević, Deputy President of the Council.
 
At the first meeting of the NCDE Council, Mr. Vedran Kružić, assistant minister of the economy for trade and internal market was appointed Chairman of the NCDE. The Rules of procedure of the NCDE were adopted at the meeting and the organization three forums on e-business, training for digital economy and modern technologies was agreed upon.
