HAKOM at the Meeting of ERGP Working Group

The topics related to the draft documents requested by the European Commission on possible changes and harmonization of the regulatory framework regarding cross-border parcel delivery as well as parcel transportation on the domestic market of each of the EU Member States and Candidate Countries were discussed at the meeting.
 
ZAGREB, September 18 2015 – In Bonn, a meeting of ERPG Working Group an association of the European Regulators for postal services was held. German national regulator for network services (BNetz) organized the meeting.

The topics related to the draft documents requested by the European Commission on possible changes and harmonization of the regulatory framework regarding the cross-border parcel delivery as well as parcel transportation on the domestic market of each of the EU Member States and Candidate Countries were discussed at the meeting. In addition to the above mentioned topics the issues such as :transfer of knowledge, regulatory experience and positive practices on the postal services markets related to "e-commerce" as well as the results of a joint meeting between BEREC and ERPG Working Group held in Brussels on Monday, were discussed as well.
 
The aim of the meeting was to prepare the reports and documents as a joint ERPGS’s response / attitude for the Plenary Meeting of the European Regulators' association in accordance with the requirements and intentions of the European Commission to remove cross-border barriers in parcel transportation and develop services in the field of "e-commerce".
 
The participants of the meeting were representatives of the regulatory authorities from the EU Member States and Candidate Countries, the renowned experts in the field of postal services. Mr. Andrej Sardelić, Head of Postal Services Department and expert at the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) actively participated at the meeting.
