HAKOM at the Meeting of Joint Expert Working Groups of BEREC and ERGP
ZAGREB, October 27, 2015 -. The Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) organized the meeting of joint Working Groups of BEREC and ERPG, an association of European Regulators for Electronic Communications and Postal Services in Brussels. Draft documents done within the framework of the joint working group on changes to the regulatory framework of postal services and electronic communications related to "e-commerce" was the most important issue of the meeting. In addition to the above-mentioned issue the transmission of knowledge, BEREC experience within its regulatory framework as well as its positive practice on the electronic communications market related to the transparency of procedures and prices on cross- border parcel delivery on the EU postal services markets.
The aim of the meeting of joint working group was to prepare reports and documents of both associations of the European regulatory authorities in accordance with the requirements and intentions of the European Commission to remove cross-border barriers in parcel transportation and faster service development in the field of "e-commerce".
The representatives of regulatory authorities from the EU Member States, the renowned experts in the field of postal and electronic communications services attended the meeting. HAKOM’s expert Andrej Sardelić, Head of Postal Services Department actively participated at the meeting.
