HAKOM at the meeting of the Postal Directive Committee

The most important topic of the meeting is the draft Regulation on cross-border delivery in which the Commission proposes new rules for e-trade that will help users and companies to exploit all the advantages of the single market. 
 
ZAGREB, 31 May 2016 – The meeting of the Postal Directive Committee is taking place in Brussels and it is attended by an expert from the Croatian Regulatory Authority for network Industries (HAKOM), Mrs. Ana Šubat Perković. The most important topic of the meeting is the draft Regulation on cross-border delivery in which the Commission proposes new rules for e-trade that will help users and companies to exploit all the advantages of the single market. This is a series of measures that will make it easier for users and companies on the entire territory of the EU buy and sell goods and services online.
 
The meeting also covered standards, international issues, key issues related to the upcoming 26th Congress of the Universal Postal Union that will take place in autumn in Istanbul and postal statistics, as well as a presentation of a report of the European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP).
