HAKOM at the meeting of the Radio Spectrum Committee (RSC)

The working group is helping the European Commission in the adoption of implementing decisions concerning the RF spectrum management in the EU Member States.
 
ZAGREB, 9 December 2015 –  A meeting of the Radio Spectrum Committee (RSC), a European Commission working group in charge of RF spectrum management, is taking place in Brussels. This working group, among other things, is helping the European Commission in the adoption of implementing decisions concerning the RF spectrum management in the EU Member States.
 
The most important topics of the meeting include the implementation of EU legislation in the RF spectrum management sector, the drafting of an implementing decision on the coordinated use of the 694 - 790 MHz band for mobile communications networks, the drafting of an implementing decision on the aligned use of the 2010- 2025 MHz band for television and radio production systems, the meeting of the working group on cross-border interferences and the tackling of the issue of interferences between the rail communications system and mobile communications networks. The meeting of the Radio Spectrum Committee is attended by Mr. Željko Tabaković, Assistant Director of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM).
