HAKOM at the meeting of the sastanku Radio Spectrum Policy Group - RSPG

The meeting included the adoption of the report from the World Radiocommunications Conference WRC'15, the preparation of 5G report on the Internet of things (IoT) i Intelligent Transport Systems ( ITS). A meeting of the working group on cross border coordination was also held.
 
ZAGREB, 8 June 2016 – The meeting of the Radio Spectrum Policy Group (RSPG) too place in Brussels. This is an advisory group operating at the European Commission. The meeting was attended Mr. Željko Tabaković, Assistant Director of the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM). 
 
The meeting covered the adoption of the report on the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC'15), activities concerning the preparation of the position on the International Radiocommunication Conference 2019, activities on the preparation of reports on the  digital single market, and activities on the drafting of the opinion on frequency bands for the introduction of mobile communications networks ,intelligent transport systems (ITS), Internet of Things and the revision of the regulatory framework. The 12th report on the results of the work of the Working group on cross-border coordination was presented, as well as the proposal of the report on RSPG cross border coordination, and new activity was adopted concerning the coordination of frequencies with a view to freeing the digital dividend. The Republic of Italy, although it adopted decisions for the majority of regions, failed to implement those decisions and the interferences remained.
 
Mr. Željko Tabaković also participated in the work of the Working group for cross border coordination (˝Good Office˝), dealing with issues of interferences between EU Member States and their resolution.
