HAKOM at the Meeting of WGSE Working Group

WGSE Working Group Spectrum Engineering responsible for developing the technical base for using the radio frequency spectrum referring to the studies related to the allocation of radio frequency spectrum among various radio communication technologies.
 
ZAGREB, April 25 2016 – Bergen is hosting the WGSE meeting (Working Group Spectrum Engineering).The Working Group is responsible for developing the technical base for using the radio frequency spectrum referring to the studies related to the allocation of radio frequency spectrum among various radio communication technologies. Krunoslav Bejuk, Vice chairman of the Working Group will represent the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM).
 
It is expected that four ECC reports will be finally adopted and one of the reports will be forwarded to public consultation. A survey about the usage of ranges for fixed network systems will be discussed and adopted. In addition, it is necessary to define a range of new tasks for the project teams who are working within WGSE. This primarily refers to the implementation of PMR / PAMR (Professional Mobile Radio) system, based on LTE technology in the frequency band 450-470 MHz, the additional studies on LTE-PPDR (Public Protection and Disaster Relief) systems in 410-430 MHz band and the analysis of the possibilities of sharing the frequency ranges 13and 14 GHz between the services in the fixed line network and various applications in the satellite service (microwave links and fixed-satellite links).
