HAKOM at the Working Meeting of the Group Signatories of HCM Agreement

The working group deals with technical issues because of the implementation of new technologies and their possible impact on the protection of existing private mobile network as well as the implementation of the recommendations adopted by ECC - European Communication Council.

ZAGREB, April 6 2016 - In Prague a meeting of the Working group responsible for the maintenance and development of the multilateral HCM Agreement (Harmonised Calculation Method) was held among whose signatories is the Republic of Croatia. The meeting was related to the coordination of private mobile networks along border areas.

The working group deals with technical issues because of the implementation of new technologies and their possible impact on the protection of existing private mobile networks as well as the implementation of the recommendations adopted by ECC - European Communication Council. The meeting, attended by representatives of 12 European countries, was held under the auspices of the Czech regulatory authority for electronic communications (Cesky telekomunikační úřad - CTU). The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) was represented by Vladimir Duković.

The main topics of the meeting were mobile networks in 400 MHz frequency band , propagation models for frequencies above 3000 MHz, the implementation of a new versions of HCM programme for the calculation of the electromagnetic field intensity as well as the revision of the recommendation ECC / REC / (15) 01.
