HAKOM Continues with the Thematic Workshops on the Initiation and Implementation of Projects to Increase the Accessibility of Broadband Infrastructure

Workshop on "Providing support to the local and regional self-governments in project initiation and implementation in order to increase the accessibility of broadband infrastructure with the help of state aid” was held in Šibenik and  later in Zadar.
 
ZAGREB, October 7, 2015 - Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) continues with the workshops on providing support to the local and regional self-governing units in project initiation and implementation to increase the accessibility of broadband infrastructure with the help of state aid. The first week's workshop in cooperation with the EU funds Directorate of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure was held on Tuesday at the Public Library "Juraj Šižgorić" in Šibenik while the workshop in Zadar was held on Wednesday.
 
These workshops are intended for the principals of the counties, cities and municipalities and the principals of offices and departments that cover the area of broadband Internet access. The information related to the broadband infrastructure, the National Programme for the Development of Broadband and the challenges of local self-governing units for the successful implementation of projects of Electronic Communications Infrastructure with the use of EU funds were represented by HAKOM's experts. Kristina Čosić, Mislav Hebel and Mladen Sikirica.
