HAKOM Continues with the Thematic Workshops on the Initiation and Implementation of Projects to Increase the Accessibility of Broadband Infrastructure
ZAGREB, 13 October 2015 - Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) continues with the workshop on providing support to the local and regional self-governing units in project initiation and implementation to increase the accessibility of broadband infrastructure. It is a workshop intended for the representatives of the counties, cities and municipalities and the principals of offices and departments that cover the area of broadband Internet access.The first week's workshop, in cooperation with the EU funds Directorate of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure, held in the Great Hall in Osijek on Tuesday, and was intended for the representatives of the Osijek-Baranja County and representatives of local municipalities and cities HAKOM's experts held a workshop in Vukovar-Srijem County on Wednesday.
At the workshop in Osijek the information related to the broadband infrastructure, the National Programme for the Development of Broadband and challenges of local self-governing units for the successful implementation of projects of construction of Electronic Communications Infrastructure, with the use of EU funds were represented to HAKOM's experts.
