HAKOM participated at the 8th Days of Electronic Media

On behalf of HAKOM Mr. Dražen Lučić, President of the Council Greeted the Audience and HAKOM's experts in the Field of Radio Communications Took Part at the Conference.
 
ZAGREB, October 22, 2015 - In cooperation with the Croatian Association of the Radio and the Newspaper (HURIN), the National Association of Television (NUT), the Agency for Electronic Media (AEM) and the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) the 8th Days of Electronic Media, 21st Radio Days, 8 Days of Television and 8 Days of the Internet were held between 20 and 22 October in Opatija.
On behalf of HAKOM Mr. Dražen Lučić, President of the Council greeted the audience and HAKOM's experts in the field of radio communications took part at the Conference. Mr. Danijel Vlahović participated in a panel discussion on the analogue and digital radio, where he gave a lecture on the current situation and the future of digital radio. Ms Ana Katalinić Mucalo participated in a panel discussion on the Second Digital Dividend where she talked about the strategy of transition to digital terrestrial television DVB-T2 standard and the second digital dividend.
 
“The Days of Electronic Media” is a traditional conference dealing with current topics on electronic media broadcasters. In numerous panel discussions, the participants, among other things, were introduced with the media policy proposal, possibility for the development of electronic media in the future, the European practices in order to encourage the production of media content of public interest. On Thursday, at the Days of electronic media the first results of the radio market analysis were presented. The analysis was conducted in order to get a detailed insight into the Croatian radio space and determine the attitudes and expectations of citizens regarding the programme content of the national, local and regional radio stations.
