HAKOM Participated at the Second Meeting of BEREC Contact Group in Budva

The main objective of the meeting is to prepare the 23rd regular Plenary Meeting of BEREC which will take place between 3 -5 June, 2015 in Bergen, Norway.

 
Budva, May 14, 2015 - Following the invitation of the organizers, the Montenegro regulators, EKIP, Budva is hosting the second meeting of BEREC Contact Group 2015, on 14 -15 May, 2015.
The main objective of the meeting is to prepare the 23rd regular Plenary Meeting of BEREC, which will be held between 3- 5 June, 2015 in Bergen, Norway. The Contact Group is expected to discuss the topics that will be the focus of the next Plenary Meeting, such as BEREC annual working programme for 2016 and the activity status of each BEREC Expert Working Group. Thus, the preparatory documentation of BEREC’s working groups will be discussed there while their final versions will be discussed at the final Plenary Meeting.

Among the documentation that will be discussed we can single out, "The Report on Oligopoly Analysis and Regulation ''.After the Plenary Meeting, it is planned to carry out Public Consultation on the previously mentioned issue, aiming to offer a help to the national regulatory authorities during the process of analysis and determination of oligopolistic markets. In this regard it will help BEREC to assess the need for the upgrading of regulatory frameworks in the area of ex ante oligopolies markets. Furthermore, one of the more important issues is the communication between machines entitled (Machine-to-machine, M2M). .BEREC will create a report on that issue, and HAKOM’s team of experts will be involved in preparing documentation. At the meeting of the Contact Group HAKOM will be presented  by Marko Čavlović, Assistant Director and Igor Francetić, Market Analysis Expert.
