HAKOM's Experts at the Meeting of FM PT22 Working Group

The discussion topics at the meeting which was held in Budapest were as follows: the LTE coverage measurement, harmful interference in the 3G UMTS network caused by DECT 6.0, the provisions of measuring forces in the FM area, PCI measurements and the impact of wind farms on various mobile technologies.
 
ZAGREB, April 12 2016 - The European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT), ECC - Electronic Communications Committee organized the 45th meeting of the WG FM PT22 Working Group. This working group is responsible for addressing the control and supervision of the radio frequency spectrum as well as for writing the proposals of international recommendations for the development of joint measurement techniques and procedures for the radio frequency spectrum control. The topics of great importance were the exchange of experiences and solutions related to the control of the radio frequency spectrum and the organization of measurement campaigns, general principles of measurement and measurement equipment as well as the information on current ITU-R Recommendations related to monitoring the RF spectrum.
 
Discussion meeting topics were measurements of LTE coverage, the problem of harmful interference in the 3G UMTS network caused by DECT 6.0., the provisions of power measurement in the FM area, PCI measurement, the impact of wind farms on various mobile technologies and the existence of illegal  spectrum users.
 
The participants at the meeting were the renowned experts in the field of Electronic communications and the official representatives of the EU Member States. The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) was represented by Marijan Karoglan, and Dalibor Živković the RF Spectrum Experts.
