Public Consultations on the Allocation Plans for the 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz and 2600 MHz frequency bands have been published

Zagreb, 17 September 2020 – In order to harmonise the usage of radio spectrum for mobile communications networks at the European level, HAKOM launched public consultations on amendments to allocation plans for the 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz and 2600 MHz frequency bands.

The frequency bands currently used for 2G, 3G and 4G technology have been harmonised at the European level and technical conditions prescribed enabling the use of these bands and for 5th generation mobile communications networks (5G). In order to fully implement the decisions of the European Commission and enable the introduction of 5G in already allocated frequency bands, HAKOM launched the following public consultattions
 
1. Allocation plan for the 791-821/832-862 MHz frequency band (link)
2. Allocation plan for the 880-915/925-960 MHz and 1710-1785/1805-1880 MHz frequency bands (link)
3. Allocation plan for the 1920-1980/2110-2170 MHz frequency band (link)
4. Allocation plan for the 2500-2690 MHz frequency band (link)
