ERGP Opinion on the New Legislative Package in the Field of Digital Services

The emphasis was put on the need to harmonize the new legislative package with the current legislative framework in the field of postal services, the expected upgrading of the legislative framework as well as the need to strengthen the protection of users' rights.

ZAGREB, 16 October 2020 – As a national regulatory authority for postal services in the Republic of Croatia HAKOM informs interested public and market stakeholders of postal services as the European Regulators Group for Postal Services (ERGP) published an opinion on the new Digital Services Act (DSA) legislative package on its official website, following a closed public consultation conducted by the European Commission. The ERGP emphasizes the need to align the new legislative package in the field of digital services with the current legislative framework in the field of postal services, the expected upgrading of the legislative framework in the field of postal services in the coming period and the need to strengthen the protection of users' rights.
