HAKOM: A Continued Revenue Growth on the Postal Services Market
In the first quarter of 2019, the revenue from postal services was higher than the revenues earned in the previous quarter, as well as in the same period last year.
ZAGREB, June 14, 2019 -In the Republic of Croatia, in the first quarters of 2019 the positive trends in the postal services market have continued to grow. In comparison to the previous quarter, the revenues from postal services have increased by 1.2 % and by 7.2 % at the same time last year. The increase in revenues compared to the previous quarter is the result of slight increase in the total number of services by 0.5 percent, while the increase in revenues compared to the first quarter of the previous year was the result of a large number of parcels connected to the e-commerce services, and whose number has increased by 13 percent.
At the end of the first quarter of 2019, a total of 22 suppliers were registered in the Republic of Croatia and the number has not changed compared to the previous period. The largest postal service provider is still HP-Hrvatska Pošta d.d. with 85% of market share.
