HAKOM participates in informing Citizens about their Rights as Consumers on Thursday in Čakovec

The Consumer Protection Week organized by the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts will be held from 8 to 15 March 2018 and numerous bodies will participate in the education by informing the users, the stakeholders of consumer protection policy in the Republic of Croatia.
ZAGREB, March 7, 2018 – The Consumer Protection Week starts this Thursday, March 8, when citizens will be informed about their rights as consumers in Čakovec ,Sheier building Matice hrvatske 1, at 14:00 - 18:00. All information on consumer protection legislation how to implement these tips, will be provided to the citizens from various areas of consumer protection.
The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), as the national regulator responsible for regulating the electronic communications market and the postal and rail services will join World Consumer Rights Day to mark the Consumer Rights Week in the Republic of Croatia, which is celebrated in Čakovec, Slavonski Brod, Vinkovci, Pula, Zadar and Dubrovnik, with a final celebration in Zagreb on March 15. The organizer is the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts in cooperation with other bodies, stakeholders of consumer protection policy in the Republic of Croatia.
Consumer Protection Week will be held from 8 to 15 March 2018. The event, in addition to informing citizens about their consumer rights, includes business education on consumer protection law in the morning hours. We invite citizens to visit info desks and be informed about their rights or ask for advice if they have a problem with merchants or providers of various public services.
