The 12th Electronic Media Days: HAKOM participated in the panel „New technologies and Media“

The focus of the conference is Electronic Media Law, ethical reports, harmonized media requirement with market work, introduction of new technology and media market research methodology


ZAGREB, November 7, 2019 - The University of Zadar hosted a conference on electronic media law, ethical reports, harmonization with the international community and market assembly, the implementation of new technology and media market. HAKOM's Executive Director Miran Gosta gave the lecture in the introductory part of the conference, which gathered the representatives of the Government, media, publishers and regulatory agencies.
 
HAKOM participated in the panel "New Technologies and Media", and within the scope of the conference Kresimir Šakić gave a presentation on "New era  of digital terrestrial television and radio in the Republic of Croatia". In the panel, the latest achievements were presented in the field of radio and television technologies such as the development of Internet radio broadcasting services, test broadcasting of digital radios in DAB + technology, the transition to DVB-T2 in the Republic of Croatia and new services enabled by the HbbTV platform in terrestrial television networks.
