The project aims to reduce a risky behavior of most vulnerable road stakeholders, the number of casualties trying to raise awareness of road stakeholders about the consequences of risky behavior at level crossings.
ZAGREB, 24 October 2016 – The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) is hosting the exhibition entitled "Security through Design", open to the visitors from 24 October until 4 November 2016 at the premises of Sky office at Roberta Frangeša Mihanovića 9,in Zagreb.
The exhibition on the level crossings safety has been organized within the scope of the project "Implementation of measures to increase the security of the most vulnerable road stakeholders at level crossings", implemented within the framework of the National Program of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Croatia on road safety 2011 – 2020. The authors interpreted selected topics and offered graphic solutions adapted to modern trends of visual communication, understandable to everyone by using the required elements and associations and expressing their style and sensibility.
The Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences in Zagreb is the project holder, and partner in the project is the Croatian Railways Infrastructure Ltd. with its preventive and educational action "The train is always faster". The project aims to reduce risky behavior of most vulnerable road stakeholders (children, pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists, the elderly and persons with disabilities) as well as the number of casualties. Moreover, it aims to raise awareness of road stakeholders about the consequences of risky behavior at level crossings.
