HAKOM organized the fifth round table with representatives of postal service providers and stakeholder groups on the postal services market

Zagreb, 2 December 2016 –As part of its regular business activities, the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) promotes interaction between stakeholders on the postal services market in the Republic of Croatia. For that reason HAKOM organized in Zagreb, on Friday, 2 December 2106,  the fifth round table with representatives of postal service providers, associations of stakeholders on the postal services market, the Croatian Chamber of Economy and the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering. The meeting covered various common topics, such as HAKOM's report (overview) on indicators on the postal services marked which includes annual indicators for 2015, indicators for three quarters of 2016 and forecasts and trends until the end of 2016. They also discussed the workshops and activities organized by European Commission and ERPG working bodies concerning cross-border parcel traffic and results of HAKOM's study on the use of postal services by natural persons as postal service users and the methodology for the regulation of universal service prices. 

Round tables with stakeholders on markets regulated by HAKOM are an additional step in the improvement of market regulation, in the first place aimed at promoting regulatory predictability by means of dialogue and discussions on current topics.
