HAKOM’s Experts engaged in drafting of the Guide with Useful Tips

The brochure published by the Tenant Associations of the Republic of Croatia and the Association of Cities in the Republic of Croatia will be presented in Zadar and Varaždin with the aim to provide citizens with information regarding the Electronic communications infrastructure in residential buildings.

ZAGREB, February 22, 2016 - “Guide with useful tips” will be presented this week in Zadar and Varaždin. It is a brochure published and organized by the Tenant Associations of the Republic of Croatia and the Association of Cities in the Republic of Croatia. Two thematic fields such as: Sustainable Waste Management and the Electronic Communications Installations in the buildings have been elaborated in details with the help of the following institutions, the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund, the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) and the groups of utility and waste management companies. HAKOM's expert Mladen Sikirica, associate editor in the project took part in the presentation of the” Guide with Useful Tips”.
 
The Electronic communications infrastructure in buildings is a very important part of the development of new broadband networks and services in the Republic of Croatia and one of the obstacles to this development is usually an inadequate infrastructure in the buildings. Therefore, in cooperation with the Tenant Associations of the Republic of Croatia (KUSRH) HAKOM has published a brochure "Optical Fibre to the Building “ thus participating in the preparation of the above mentioned Guide with the objective to inform the Croatian citizens about the Electronic communications infrastructure in the residential buildings. HAKOM's experts Vladimir Žuti and Stjepan Vodolšak Zdenko Marcelić and Josipa Đerek participated in drafting of the Guide.
