Public consultation concerning the draft Guidelines on implementation by national regulators of European net neutrality rules has started

Public consultation will last for six weeks and end of 18 June 2016.
 
ZAGREB, 7 June 2016. – When the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications  BEREC) adopted at its session the draft Guidelines on implementation by national regulators of European net neutrality rules, a public consultation on this document started on 6 June 2016. BEREC’s Guidelines will provide recommendations for national regulatory authorities on how to supervise the implementation and execution of the Regulation laying down measures concerning open internet access in order to ensure clear and consistent implementation of the Regulation in European Union Member States.
 
The public consultation will last for six weeks and end on 18 July 2016. The objective of the public consultation is to provide valuable feedback to BEREC from all interested parties. BEREC will adopt the final text of the Guidelines by 30 August 2016 as the deadline laid down in the Regulation.
