HAKOM: Amendments to the Ordinance will make the Sale of Telecommunication Services Clear and more Transparent
Draft amendment to the Ordinance on the manner and conditions for the provision of electronic communications networks and services for which the public consultation procedure has been launched includes the provisions providing a clear and transparent conclusion of contracts in the electronic communications in case of remote conclusion of contracts or sale outside the provider’s shop.The provisions also equalize the minimum internet connection speeds compared to the maximum (advertised) speed for all service packages on the market.

HAKOM contributed HRK 50 million in state aid for connecting target users to broadband Internet
The target users include schools, health care institutions, public institutions and volunteer firefighters associations in areas of special state concern, hilly and mountainous areas and on the islands who have been provided broadband access at a minimum speed 2 Mbit/s. The minimum speed will be increased in the future to 30 Mbit/s in accordance with the objectives of the Digital Agenda for Europe 2020.
