Placing Radio Equipment on the Market
In the Republic of Croatia, radio equipment may only be freely marketed, put into operation, and used if it complies with the essential requirements specified in Article 5 of the Ordinance on Radio Equipment and fulfils any additional applicable conditions. Furthermore, the equipment must be installed, maintained, and used correctly according to its intended purpose.
Radio equipment that does not meet the essential requirements in Article 5 may only be publicly displayed or presented in Croatia if it bears a clear and prominent label indicating that its sale or use is not permitted within the country.
Placing Radio Equipment on the Market
The manufacturer or the person responsible for placing radio equipment on the market in the Republic of Croatia is required to provide the following to the user at the time of sale:
Commissioning and Use of Radio Equipment
Radio equipment may be commissioned and used for its intended purpose, provided it meets the essential requirements outlined in Article 5 of the Radio Equipment Directive. Additionally, it must be properly installed, maintained, and used as specified by its designated purpose.
Radio equipment that does not meet the essential requirements in Article 5 may only be publicly displayed or presented in Croatia if it bears a clear and prominent label indicating that its sale or use is not permitted within the country.
Placing Radio Equipment on the Market
The manufacturer or the person responsible for placing radio equipment on the market in the Republic of Croatia is required to provide the following to the user at the time of sale:
- Instructions for use and safety information in Croatian, using the Latin script.
- Identification data (type, batch, or serial number) for the radio equipment.
- Contact details of the manufacturer and importer, including name, registered trade name or trademark, and address.
- Information on the frequency band(s) and the maximum radio frequency power transmitted by the radio equipment, in cases where it is intended to transmit radio waves.
- A prominent warning about any possible usage restrictions for the radio equipment and/or the need to obtain a license for the use of the radio frequency spectrum.
- An EU Declaration of Conformity, or a simplified EU Declaration of Conformity, with the exact internet address where the full text of the EU Declaration of Conformity is available.
