HAKOM’s 11th Electronic Communications Market Day

The conference will explore industry perspectives and developments, the implications of deregulation, the future utilisation of the RF spectrum as a limited national resource, and new opportunities for users of universal services.

ZAGREB, 30 September 2024 - On 15 October, the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) will host its traditional 11th Electronic Communications Market Day in Zagreb. This prestigious conference will convene representatives from market stakeholders, government bodies, the business sector, academia, and the media.

This event will serve as a valuable opportunity to present key activities within the ever-evolving market, with an emphasis on industry prospects and developments, the effects of deregulation, the anticipated use of the RF spectrum as a limited national asset, and the changes that will introduce new possibilities for users of universal services.

Following introductory addresses from HAKOM’s leadership, including Council President Tonko Obuljen and Executive Director Miran Gosta, the conference will comprise four panel discussions. These panels will provide a platform for both the regulator and stakeholders to articulate their perspectives, share experiences, and showcase examples of best practices. Through open dialogue, they aim to contribute to meaningful changes in this challenging market.

The conference programme is available via the provided link. As in previous years, due to the considerable interest it generates, the event will be streamed live on HAKOM’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
