ZAGREB, 27 September 2016 – The 23rd Festival of Information Technology Achievements- INFOFEST is taking place in Budva from 25 September to 1 October under the slogan the “Wonderful Key”. This is an international thematic event including the 14th International Conference on Regulatory Activity in the Electronic Communications Sector. The topic of this year’s conference is the “Regulation of the Electronic Communications Market” and the conference has been organized by the Montenegrin regulatory authority, the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (EKIP) and the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).
Experts from the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) are participating at this event by presenting current topics at panel discussions. HAKOM’s experts Jagoda Peleponjko will present her paper on the topics of the “Single Digital Market – DSM” at the panel discussion on “Regulatory trends and new regulatory challenges at the international and regulatory level. HAKOM’s expert, Mr. Mislav Hebelm will give a presentation on the topic of “Roam like at Home” at the panel discussion on “International Roaming Services”, Mrs. Lidija Antonić will present her paper on the topic of “EU Directive on measures to reduce the cost of deploying high-speed electronic communications networks” at the panel discussion on “Strategies and Policies for Broadband Development” and Mr. Danko Čurešić will present on the topic of “Mapping of broadband access and electronic communications infrastructure” .
