E-Safety Project Presented at Zagrebačka County Police Administration

Applicative solution for this project was made within HAKOM's Programme for the development of Internet and broadband Internet access in the areas of special state concern, hilly and mountainous areas and islands.
 
ZAGREB, October 6, 2015 – In the business premises of the Zagrebačka County Police Administration on Monday three modernized Operational Communication Police Centres (Zagreb, Split and Rijeka) were opened and the E-police project was presented. The E-Police project has been designed for the police officers to enable them to carry out their duties out of the office by means of electronic communications with the objective to ensure constant access to the IT system of the Ministry of the Interior for data registration and data withdrawal from the above-mentioned system.
 
This project’s applicative solution has been made within HAKOM's Programme for the development of the Internet and broadband Internet access in the areas of special state concern, hilly and mountainous areas and islands. The development of the above-mentioned software solutions for the target users started by the acceptance of preliminary designs submitted within second and third public invitation to deliver ideas aimed at creating the socially- useful applications under HAKOM’s Programme for the development of Internet and broadband Internet access from the E-Security.
 
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs g. Evelin Tonković, Chief State Prosecutor g. Dinko Cvitan and numerous high-ranking leaders of the Ministry of Interior attended the meeting. Mr Dražen Lučić, President of the Council of HAKOM was one of the speakers at the ceremony.
