HAKOM at a meeting concerning the 1st amendments to the 2017 Network Report

The topic of the meeting was the presentation of an amended formula for setting the charges for the minimum access package less the correction coefficient (k), which is at the same time the most important change in the formula for the calculation of the charge for the minimum access package.
 
ZAGREB, 6 July 2016  – The infrastructure manager, HŽ Infrastruktura d.o.o. (HŽI) organized at its premises in Zagreb a meeting concerning the 1st amendments to the 2017 Network Report. In addition to representatives of the Croatian Regulatory authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), the participants of the meeting included representatives of the passenger rail operator (HŽ Putnički prijevoz d.o.o.) and one Croatian cargo operator (Rail Cargo Carier d.o.o.). The topic of the meeting was the presentation of an amended formula for setting the charges for the minimum access package less the correction coefficient (k), which is at the same time the most important change in the formula for the calculation of the charge for the minimum access package.
 
HŽI adopted a decision on the implementation of the Regulation (EU) 909/2015 on the modalities for the calculation of the cost that is directly incurred as a result of operating the train service. The Regulation lays down the manner for calculating the costs directly incurred as a result of operating the train service for the purposes of for the setting the charges for the minimum access package and for access to infrastructure connecting service facilities. The Regulation entered into force of 1 August 2015 and the deadline for implementation is four years.
