HAKOM at the 9th Electronic Media Days

Zagreb, 23 November 2016 – From 22 to 24 November 2016 Opatija is hosting the 9^th Electronic Media Days, the 22^nd Radio Days, the 9^th Television Days and the 9^th Internet Days. The event was organized by the Croatian Association of Radio Stations and Newspapers (HURIN), the National Association of Television Stations (NUT), the Agency for Electronic Media (AEM) and the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM).
 
At the official opening of the event, the participants were welcomed on behalf of HAKOM by the President of the Council, Mr. Dražen Lučić. In addition to the President of the Council, the Conference will also be attended by HAKOM's radiocommunications experts. Mr. Danijel Vlahović, a senior expert for broadcasting planning, will participate in the panel discussion on digital radio where he will give his lecture on the current situation and the future of digital radio. Mr. Željko Tabaković, Assistant Director, will participate in the panel discussion on the second digital dividend, where he will talk about the digital switchover strategy to DVB-T2 standard and the allocation of the second digital dividend. The President of the Council. Mr. Dražen Lučić, will participate in the panel discussion on the future of the regulatory framework for electronic media.
 
The Electronic Media Days are a traditional conference on current topics of electronic media broadcasters. Various thematic conferences, panel discussions and lectures gathered a large number of radio and television broadcasters and media experts whose discussions will improve the position of electronic media in the Croatian media space.
