HAKOM at the meeting of the expert group in charge of drafting the BEREC Communication Strategy

The meeting focused on the topics of the Communications Plan, with a special emphasis on the priorities and challenges mentioned in the Development Strategy and the BEREC’s Annual Work Programme.
 
ZAGREB, 19 October 2016 – A meeting of the expert group in charge of drafting the 2017 Communications Strategy of the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications was held in Brussels.  The meeting covered the communication following of the Fourth BEREC Stakeholder Forum and the press conference on network neutrality which was held on 30 August 2016. The participants also agreed on the topics for the 2017 BEREC Communication Plan, including the following:  “Overview of the New Regulatory Framework”, “Network Neutrality”, “Mid-term Strategy”, “The Fifth Stakeholder Forum”, “The Internet of Things” workshop, and “Common Position - Mobile Network Coverage”. 
 
The objective of the Communication Plan is to underline the priorities and challenges mentioned in the Development Strategy and the Annual Work Programme of BEREC. The meeting was attended by BEREC representatives and by representatives of regulatory authorities from Belgium, France, Greece, Croatia, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia and Spain. The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) was represented at the meeting by a market analysis expert, Mr. Jurica Badvić.
