HAKOM at the meeting of the Expert Working Group on International Roaming

The objective of the meeting is to define the manner of implementation of the new regulatory framework that will ultimately result in the elimination of additional retail roaming fees. This regulatory framework should enter into force on 15 June 2017.
 
ZAGREB, 20 July 2016 – The Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) organized a meeting of the Expert Working Group on International Roaming (IR EWG) which is taking place in Brussels on 19 and 20 July. The objective of the meeting is to define the manner of implementation of the new regulatory framework that will ultimately result in the elimination of additional retail roaming fees. This regulatory framework should enter into force on 15 June 2017.
 
The meeting was attended by representatives of regulatory authorities from the EU Member States, by members of the European Commission and by known experts in the electronic communications sector. The participants of the meeting also included experts from the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM), Iva Vučić and Mislav Hebel.
