HAKOM at the Meeting of the Radio Spectrum Policy Group (RSPG)

The most important topics of the meeting were “The report on the effective allocation and use of radio frequency spectrum in Europe as well as the report and discussion related to the tasks of the Working Group on Cross-Border Coordination”. The issues such Italian interference and the dispute resolution were discussed as well

ZAGREB, 16 October 2015 - In Brussels, the 38th Meeting of the Radio Spectrum Policy Group (RSPG) was held. It is an advisory group established by the European Commission (EC). The most important topics of the meetings were as follows; the report on the effective allocation and the use of radio frequency spectrum in Europe comprising the information on the best practices of the EU Member States related to the frequency allocation.

It also prepares the report on the long-term radio frequency spectrum policy programme within the EU as well as the report and discussion on the tasks of the Working Group for Cross-border coordination. The issues such as Italian interference and the dispute resolution were discussed as well.

At the meeting of the Radio Spectrum Policy Group (RSPG) the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) was represented by Mr Željko Tabaković, Deputy Director.
