HAKOM at the meeting of WGFM

A civil/military meeting is taking place in Prague aimed at improving the use of the spectrum and its harmonization.

Zagreb, 24 November 2016 The Electronic Communications Committee of the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT) organized in Prague on 23 and 24 November a civil/military meeting within the framework of the WGFM (Working Group Frequency Menagement), which is in charge of spectrum management.

Civil/military meetings are organized every three years with a view to improving the use of the spectrum and its harmonization. The discussions cover the results of the previous World Radiocommunications Conference (WRC-15) and the preparations for the upcoming conference, the UHF frequency band 225-500 Mhz, the frequency band 800/900 MHz and the joint use of individual bands. The meeting is attended by representatives of CEPT, state administration, industry and NATO.  The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) is represented by an expert for private networks, Alen Štefanac.
