HAKOM at the Scientific Symposium of the Croatian Institute of Public Administration

ZAGREB, February 11 2016 – Following the invitation of the organizer the Institute of Public Administration in Zagreb the scientific symposium was held on the topic “Managing the quality and efficiency in the local self- government units and public administration”. It is a regular annual conference open to the participants from various organizations of public administration aimed at gathering the members of Academia and experts interested in the issues on managing the quality and efficiency in public administration with the aim of exchanging experiences. The experts from the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) participated at the meeting.
 
Taking into consideration the increased emphasis on the quality and efficiency of the services provided by public service organizations, the research results regarding the application of quality management mechanisms were presented at the symposium as well as the good practice examples. Therefore the manual comprising these works was published and presented on this occasion.” Quality management in the Croatian public regulatory authorities”- is the topic presented by HAKOM's experts Nikola Popović, Member of the Council of HAKOM, and Anamarija Kobasić. The work comprises various aspects of quality management regarding the role of public regulatory authorities in Croatia analysing the experience of quality management according to ISO 9001requirements in the Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries.
