HAKOM at the Workshop by DG Connect and FSR

The topics discussed at the workshop were the EU case law in the field of electronic communications and other related fields as well as new challenges for the national courts.

 
ZAGREB, January 15, 2016 - Following the invitation of the organizer DG Connect's (Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Contents and Technology) and the Florence School of Regulation (FSR) a workshop on “Electronic Communications Regulation at a Cross-road” was held in Brussels last Friday. The topics such as the EU case law in the field of electronic communications as well as other related fields and new challenges for the national courts were discussed at the workshop supported by the European Commission.

The representatives of judiciary, regulators, the European institutions and academic community had an opportunity to exchange their experience on best practice in various aspects of the electronic communications regulation and media. The representatives of the courts within the EU Member States as well as the representatives of national regulators took part in the workshop. The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries HAKOM was represented by Igor Prokurica, Senior Legal Affairs Expert.
