NEWS

Zagreb, 8 September 2015 - In Brussels on September 9, 2015 a workshop on the Draft Amendments to the Guidelines on the Application of Directive 2005/29 / EC on unfair commercial practices will be held. The workshop is organized by the European Commission Directorate-General for Justice and Consumer Protection.

The currently relevant guidelines have been in force since 2009 and have significantly contributed to the approximation of consumer protection practices. New upcoming amendments to the Guidelines will further remove the ambiguities that have emerged in some specific sectors. The meeting will be attended by the representatives of the national consumer protection authorities and representatives of the European Commission. HAKOM is represented by Ms. Jagoda Peleponjko.
