HAKOM Continues with Thematic Workshops on the Initiation and Implementation of projects in order to Increase the Accessibility of Broadband Infrastructure

Workshops on " Providing Support to the Local and Regional Self- governing units in Project Initiation and Implementation in order to Increase the Accessibility of Broadband Infrastructure  with the help of state aid “ were held in Rijeka and Pula and HAKOM’s experts will hold a workshop in Rijeka on Wednesday.

ZAGREB, November 11, 2015 – The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network Industries (HAKOM) continues with thematic workshops on "Providing Support to the Local and Regional Self- governing units in Project Initiation and Implementation in order to Increase the Accessibility of Broadband Infrastructure with the help of state aid. This workshop is intended for the principals of counties, municipalities and cities as well as the principals of offices and departments that cover the area of development of broadband Internet access.
 
The first week's workshop in cooperation with the EU funds Directorate of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure was held on Monday in Rijeka with the team of e County, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. On Tuesday, HAKOM's experts held a workshop intended for the principals of cities and municipalities of the Istria County in Pula. On Wednesday, November 11, a workshop will be held with the principals of local municipalities, cities and counties in Pazin. At the workshops the information on broadband, the National Programme for the Development of Broadband and the challenges of local self-governing units for the successful implementation of projects regarding the electronic communications infrastructure, with the use of EU funds were presented by HAKOM's experts Josip Šajnović, Mislav Hebel, Vladimir Žuti, Kristina Ćosić and Stjepan Vodolšak.
