HAKOM's Experts at the Meeting of the Working Group Responsible for the Area of Numbering and Networks (WG NaN)

ZAGREB, 30 October 2015 - The Austrian regulatory authority RTR-GmbH (Rundfunk und Telekom Regulierungs GmbH) organized a two-day meeting of the working group responsible for the area of numbering and networks (WG NaN) which was held in Vienna. This working group, within the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT), deals with the drafting rules for addressing and numbering, as well as consulting and recommendations on regulatory technical issues in order to promote and support innovations and competitiveness in the field of electronic communications. The most important topics of the meeting were related to the recommendations regarding the exterritorial use of E.164 numbers, the evolution in the use of E.212 codes for mobile networks (MNC) and the guidelines for fundamental changes to national numbering plans and the third party use of number portability information( Company).
