HAKOM at this year's third Plenary Session of BEREC

The most important topic was the revision of the regulatory framework since the EC, which is launching the revision of the regulatory framework, values BEREC’s opinion on key issues. The main discussion focused on the definition of services in the regulatory framework since the existing definitions were developed 20 years ago in a different framework and in part no longer correspond to the development of technologies, services and market.

HAKOM at the first meeting of the regional group for optimization of the remaining broadcasting spectrum in Budapest

The group was established in order to facilitate optimization and international coordination of the remaining broadcasting spectrum at the regional level. The results of this group will contribute to the process of international coordination of frequencies necessary for the switchover to DVB-T2 and to the freeing of the spectrum of the second digital dividend for services in mobile communications networks
