Warning from HAKOM: Another attempt of abuse against users!

An increased number of incoming calls from the numbering range +882138774xx towards users was recorded on Tuesday. These calls appear on user’s phone as missed calls expecting a return call, which is why this range was blocked for any traffic.
 
ZAGREB, 8 June 2016. – An increased number of incoming calls from the numbering range +882138774xx  towards users was recorded on Tuesday. These calls appear on user’s phone as missed calls expecting a return call, Such calls resulted in return calls made by mobile network users to numbers in the +882138774xx numbering range, which is why any traffic to the above-mentioned target range has been blocked.
 
The Croatian Regulatory Authority for Network (HAKOM) is warning users once again to be careful in case of calls or messages from unknown numbers, in particular in case of international numbers. Before returning a call or a text message, please check the number with your operator.
 
If you suspect abuse or fraud, that is, unsolicited electronic communications, feel fee to notify your operator or HAKOM.
