Announcement of the 5th Workshop on Regulatory Challenges

This year, the 5th Workshop on Regulatory Challenges will be organized within the scope of the International Conference on Telecommunications Contel 2015
 
ZAGREB- 6 May 2015 The 5th Workshop on Regulatory Challenges in the Electronic Communications Market will be organized within the scope of the International Conference on Telecommunications – ConTEL 2015 in Graz, Austria between 13 and 15 June. The Workshop on Regulatory Challenges is a full-day event comprising presentations of peer-reviewed papers and a round table entitled “The role of the national regulatory authority in the implementations of the Digital Agenda for Europe”.
 
At the workshop, a wide range of topics related to the regulatory aspects of electronic communications networks and services will be presented as well as , the implementation of the Digital Agenda, which are currently the biggest regulatory challenges on the market of electronic communications such as: the  unique EU market in the field of electronic communications, broadband Internet access in rural areas, investments in the access network, Internet of Things, machine-machine communication (M2M communication),the quality of service, the protection of consumers’ rights etc. The workshop presents the cooperation between HAKOM and several Croatian universities and the representatives of the industry and the operators in the common, perennial multi-disciplinary project "Looking to the Future".
