Compliant to the new Roaming Regulation, the European Commission has extended the current rules for another 10 years
The Regulation provides a better service and significantly extends the use of roaming without additional charges when traveling in the EU Member States.
Zagreb, 25. February 2021. - On Wednesday, 24. February 2020.,the European Commission proposed a new roaming regulation in order for citizens to continue to use roaming without additional charges while traveling in the EU Member States. In accordance with the new Regulation the current rules that are due to expire in 2022, will prolong for another 10 years, providing the customers even better services. In particular, users will be entitled to the same quality and connection speed to the mobile network as in their own country, in the areas providing similar networks. The new rules will provide effective access to emergency services, better information about alternative access methods for disabled persons, and users will also be informed about possible charges for using services with a special roaming rate.
