Grants allocated for other 13 applied Projects for Network Deployment

Grant contracts within the call “Deployment of Next Generation Access Networks (NGA) in white NGA areas” have already been signed by eight eligible applicants.


ZAGREB, 2 October 2020 - The Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds delivered 13 remaining grant contracts this week within the framework of the call “Deployment of Next Generation Networks (NGN)/Next Generation Access Networks (NGA) in white NGA areas”, worth a total of HRK 820.5 million, of which HRK 323.2 million is a grant. The implementation of these 13 projects, financed by the European Structural and Investment Funds, will enable the deployment of an NGA network, fast and ultra-fast broadband access to the network infrastructure for additional 148,774 apartments, business and public users from remote, less populated and less developed areas of the Republic of Croatia.

The contracts refer to the o projects in the areas of Brod-Posavina, Dubrovnik-Neretva, Istria, Krapina-Zagorje, Međimurje, Osijek-Baranja, Split-Dalmatia, Varaždin, Vukovar-Srijem and Zagreb County. Eight contracts for projects worth a total of HRK 578 million have already been signed within the framework of the aforementioned call, of which HRK 263.9 million is a grant.
