The meeting of the HLIG Group which deals with topics concerning Internet governance took place in Brussels. This group is in charge of coordination between Member States in relation to issues concerning Internet governance.  

At the meeting which is taking place in Brussels, the EC will report on the state of transposition of the Directive on on measures to reduce the cost of deploying high-speed electronic communications networks and on the Regulation on network neutrality and roaming in EU Member States.  

The meeting included the adoption of the report from the World Radiocommunications Conference WRC'15, the preparation of 5G report on the Internet of things (IoT) i Intelligent Transport Systems ( ITS). A meeting of the working group on cross border coordination was also held. 

An increased number of incoming calls from the numbering range +882138774xx towards users was recorded on Tuesday. These calls appear on user’s phone as missed calls expecting a return call, which is why this range was blocked for any traffic. 

Public consultation will last for six weeks and end of 18 June 2016. 

The working group deals with the relevant ITU-R recommendations and documents in the area of control and monitoring of the RF spectrum and with their revision.  

In the first quarter of 2016 operators on the electronic communications market in the Republic of Croatia will continue their investments into infrastructure development. Revenue is about 2% higher than in the same period of the previous year.  

The main topics of the meeting, which took place in Vienna, included discussions on network neutrality, international roaming and different treatment of calls originating from non-EU countries and calls from EU Member States.  

HAKOM's experts presented at the conference on the “Role and importance of national spatial data infrastructures for physical planning˝.  

The event was opened by the Assistant Minister of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure, Mr. Jure Šarić. As part of the Convention, HAKOM has organized round table on the topic of “Financing of the Building of Networks for Broadband Access in Areas Lacking Commercial Interest for Use of the European Structural and Investment Funds” and the 3^rd Forum on the future of the UHF Band – Digital Terrestrial Television and the Second Digital Dividend”.  

The total number of transported passengers in the first quarter was the same as in the same quarter of last year. That number also includes the transportation of migrants and refugees.  

As of 13 June 2016 radio equipment placed on the market has to comply with the requirements of the new Ordinance on radio equipment. 

The most important topic of the meeting is the draft Regulation on cross-border delivery in which the Commission proposes new rules for e-trade that will help users and companies to exploit all the advantages of the single market.   

The revenue from the provision of postal services grew by 5 percent in the first quarter of 2016 compared to the same period last year.   

Under the auspices of the 39th International ICT gathering MIPRO, which is taking place in Opatija, HAKOM has organized a round table on the topic of “Financing of the Building of Networks for Broadband Access in Areas Lacking Commercial Interest to Use the European Structural and Investment Funds” and the 3^rd Forum on the future of the UHF Band – digital terrestrial television and the second digital dividend”. Furthermore, HAKOM will be represented this year at the Croatian Internet Governance Forum (CRO-IGF).  

The International Conference on Effective Management in the Public Sector took place in Zagreb. The Conference covered, among other things, the practical implementation of the national reform programme, the instruments for consolidating the state IT infrastructure and public resources in state administration.   

Albania is hosting the 2nd Southeast Europe Regulatory Summit and the 7^th Infocom Conference. During the conference the Director of HAKOM, Mr. Mario Weber spoke on the importance of the open internet for the future development of services and for attracting new investments.
